It's that time again my dear friends:

The World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party!!!

For those of you who would like to watch the game with me, I'll be at Northlake Baptist Church.  I was persuaded with the promise of food.  If you want to come, I'd love to see you.  Gametime is 3:30pm, but if you get there earlier we can throw the pigskin, chat, or possibly X-box it?  Anyway, hope to see you there my friends, and GOOOOO DAWGS!  SICK'EM!

No Need to Panic

Ladies and Gentlemen,

As the official Bulldawg spokesperson on the Xanga site, I am here to say a few simple words regarding our beloved dawgs, and the future of this team:

1)  There is no need to panic- please note that the dissappointment from this weekend wasn't as bad as it seems.  Tenn. didn't even gain the lead until the 4th quarter.  There were good points, such as the receivers actually CATCHING THE BALL!  With their talents actually being displayed it will allow our offense in the future to move the ball without having to run it the entire game.  We saw a good performance by the O-line, until some interesting blitz packages from Tenn. began to disrupt it.  All in all, even with the loss of Coutu and the loss, the Dawgs are fine, so please no more negative comments from this point forward.

2)  The best way to bounce back from an upsetting loss, such as we had this weekend, is to demolish the next team you face.  In our case, Vandy.  Look for the dawgs to have a huge game, with points-a-plenty, and rock solid defense.  *sniff sniff* I smell a shut out coming

3)  We have 2 more games before that small game in Jacksonville, Chad I don't even want to hear about your Gators unless you want to talk about how much of an underdog they are gonna be that weekend.  Which means we have plenty of time to make corrections, prepare, and get our SEC record back up.  Look for the Dawgs to be ready for the Gators...with Joe T returning this year as a legitamit starter.

4)  Should the most horrible circumstances occur, and Auburn and Florida squeak out wins against our Mighty Dawgs, we still have an excellent shot at making a 10 win season for the fifth straight year, an accomplishment many institutions can't seem to accomplish.

Yes they are young, and inexperienced.  But they also have heart, soul, and hunger to win.  With the defense playing much better after the rocky top meltdown look for these dawgs to take the bone away from every other team they face on their way to dominace in the TOUGHEST conference in football.

So please be positive, support our boys, and remeber, if things look bad, by man law #467, we can call it a rebuilding year (at any time, regardless if any rebuilding actually occurs).

This weekend was incredible!  I started a new tradition, the Friday tailgate.  Since I hate getting up early, especially on a Saturday, I tailgated for the UGA game the night before.  Bubba burgers, brauts, coke, cookie cake, and chips gallore!  It was amazing.  We party till around 1:30 and then went to bed (a little later than I wanted, but the neighbors were having a keggar next door.  For those of you haven't expierenced one before, it is truly...interesting.  Especially being the only sober person there.  "Me, its Jack and coke, hold the Jack....").

Saturday began my favorite time of the year, college football came back!  Despite the fact I had to wake up at 9 in order to make it to all the festivities, it was still great!  Watched some great football, and celebrated a UGA victory.  Afterwards, the party continued, with myself, Erin, a bunch of our fellow bulldog loving, red and black wearing, mountain dew drinking, cheer screaming, sunburned and horse Georgia fans back at my place.  Lots more food was consumed, all the while we cheered on Tennessee and Auburn as they pounded the Pac-10 schools.  Whose the real conference now!  Then, to top it all off, Notre Dame won a hard fought battle to defeat the North Avenue Trade School (that's Georgia Tech).  The party finally ended, and now I have a ton of studing to catch up on before this week starts again.

It was all worth it....

What's up everyone...sorry for the lack of updates, but I decided to take the month of May off.  It's the one month out of the year I had to do...well...nothing.  I just chilled out, watched TV, worked out, put my time in at Lowes....but now, alas, school starts tomorrow.  That means I'll have to start up the ole brain again, and get ready to start crunching numbers etc.  I thought I'd throw up a post to see if anyone is interested in watching the NBA Finals somewhere.  They start Thursday, and go until one team wins 4 games.  So:

Game 1 NBA Finals Party

With the exception of Wednesday, it doesn't look like its going to be too bad at all.  I mean, I already have to pay rent here for the summer, so why not stay and take some classes?  Besides, with these 6 hours knocked out of the way it frees up more time for football season!  WOOHOO!

Hope things are going great with y'all, keep having an amazing summer!
